About Wessex Farm Wildlife

I am an independent consultant specialising in farmland ecology, Countryside Stewardship and farm conservation advice. 

With a lifetime of farming experience, I have been providing farm advice for over 20 years, assisting farmers in identifying opportunities that benefit wildlife, the environment, and the farm business.

I hold an OND in Agriculture, a BSc in Environmental Protection with Ecology, and BASIS certificates in: Soil and Water Management; Conservation; and Greenhouse Gases, Carbon & Climate Change Mitigation..

I was named Farmers Weekly Arable Adviser of the Year in 2019 for my sound advice delivered in a friendly and down-to-earth manner.

In 2021 I left my role as Principal Farm Advisor with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust to establish Wessex Farm Wildlife and now focus on delivering bespoke farm advice across much of southern England. Helping you to run a successful farm business that delivers for wildlife is what I do best.
